# 1.5. Undo and Redo

The **undo and redo** functions are important tools that allow you to easily revert to previous editing steps or restore changes you had saved earlier on your landing page.

* **Undo Function:**

**The undo function** allows you to instantly revert to the previous editing step, making it easy to correct mistakes or change your mind without having to start over.

Click on the undo icon in the editing toolbar to go back to the previous editing step. You can click multiple times to undo several previous steps.

* **Redo Function:**

**The redo function** allows you to move forward to the next editing step if you have previously used the undo function. This helps you flexibly adjust the landing page without much effort.

Click on the redo icon to move forward to the editing step that you had previously undone.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.shopone.io/english/basic-setup-tools-for-the-landing-page/top-bar/undo-and-redo.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
